Dreame Cafe
Located along the Huangpu River in Xuhui's West Bund, Dreame Cafe is a must-visit spot for coffee lovers. Designed by renowned architect Shuhei Aoyama, the space is divided into three themed areas — Gallery, Theater and Park — creating a distinctive atmosphere where art and nature converge.
A seven-meter-long counter runs through the main space, where baristas prepare espresso, pour-over, and specialty coffee in full view of customers. Watching the coffee being brewed adds a sense of occasion, turning a simple drink order into a small show.
The cafe sources premium beans from regions such as Colombia and Ethiopia, with different processing methods bringing out floral, fruity, and nutty notes.
An open-air viewing platform on the second floor offers sweeping views of the Huangpu River. Surrounded by lush greenery, it is a perfect spot to unwind with a cup of coffee, savor the gentle river breeze, and watch the boats glide by.
