The Digital and Smart Education Future Exhibition, a sideline event of the 2024 World Digital Education Conference, was held in Shanghai on Jan 30-31, displaying various smart education equipment and systems in different scenarios.

One of the highlights is a smart pen that can connect to a smart operating system and transmit students' handwriting to the teacher's terminal screen in real time, making homework assessment more convenient. The system can also grade objective questions automatically and support live broadcasting and video recording functions. It has been widely used in primary and secondary schools in Shanghai's Minhang district, serving 5,631 teachers and 120,000 students.

Another innovative system is a virtual standardized patient training system based on a large model, which can simulate various patients with different illnesses according to the teaching needs. It can present the clinical symptoms and signs in a realistic 3D visual format and interact with students through voice commands. The system can also generate standardized medical records for each virtual patient following a consultation.

The exhibition also features a digital first aid educational device for campuses, which aims to promote emergency education as an important part of school health education. The device can simulate different emergency scenarios and provide voice guidance and feedback throughout the training process, enabling users to learn essential emergency skills such as CPR, airway obstruction management, and trauma care online. The device can also help users locate the correct body parts for rescue based on the voice prompts on the screen.
