2024 Shanghai Trophy ticket sales launched
Ticket sales for the 2024 Shanghai Trophy tournament kicked off on Sept 5 – signaling the countdown to one of the premier sporting events of Shanghai.
Scheduled to run from Oct 3 to 5 at the SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center, the Shanghai Trophy tournament stands as a flagship sports event of the city, drawing attention from sports enthusiasts and elite athletes worldwide.
This year's competition will showcase three disciplines – short track speed skating, figure skating and synchronized skating – with over 200 elite athletes and referees from across the globe expected to participate.
To accommodate the expected diverse audience, the organizers have rolled out a range of ticket options tailored to different preferences and budgets.
Attendees can choose from standard tickets, which include day, night, and full-day passes priced at 80-500 yuan ($11.28-$70.52), 80-580 yuan and 160-880 yuan, respectively.
Additionally, parent-child tickets are available, offering options for one parent and one child or two parents and one child – across day, night and full-day ticket categories.
Enthusiasts eager to secure their seats can buy tickets online through the official app or WeChat mini program of Juss Sports, the event's organizers.
Since its inception in 2016, the Shanghai Trophy has grown in stature, having been held four times in 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2023 – establishing itself as one of China's most prestigious International Skating Union events.
Wang Chunlu, deputy director of the Winter Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, emphasized Shanghai's commitment to elevating the Shanghai Trophy into a globally recognized brand event with international standards and influence.
