Chinese cruise operator Adora Cruises has recently confirmed that the Adora Magic City will continue to be based in Shanghai throughout 2025, offering over 80 sailings to Japan and South Korea, with itineraries ranging from four to eight days.
In 2025, the Adora Magic City and the Adora Mediterranea will operate nearly 170 international routes from multiple Chinese homeports, providing diverse options for travelers.
Since its maiden voyage this January, the Adora Magic City has completed over 50 sailings and served more than 200,000 guests.
The newly upgraded Adora Mediterranea will use several homeports, including Tianjin and Guangzhou, offering two to six-day cruises to destinations like Japan, and Vietnam.
Liu Hui, CEO of Adora Cruises, emphasized the company's commitment to the Chinese market and its focus on integrating Chinese culture into the cruising experience.

Additionally, Adora Cruises will launch a heritage themed cultural event this autumn and winter, featuring traditional Chinese cuisine, handicrafts, and sports activities on board. The event will begin its run on Sept 15 across both ships.
Adora Cruises currently operates two large ships, which have served over 300,000 guests. The second Chinese-built cruise ship is set to be delivered by the end of 2026, with plans to launch from Nansha in Guangzhou city.
