If a patient with a workplace injury has relatively stable vital signs after emergency treatment , but suffers from disabilities or physical functional impairments, or if the medical institution treating the work injury recommends it, the patient may require inpatient rehabilitation for the injury during the period of suspension of work with pay. 

In such cases, the employer, the injured worker, or immediate family members can apply for inpatient rehabilitation for the injury to the district-level labor capacity appraisal committee, providing the following materials:

> An "Inpatient Rehabilitation for Work Injury Application Form."

> A medical diagnosis certificate issued by the medical institution that treated the work injury.

How long does it take to receive a confirmation opinion for inpatient rehabilitation for a work injury?

For work injury inpatient rehabilitation applications with complete materials, the local labor capacity appraisal committee will accept and conduct a preliminary review before submitting them to the municipal labor capacity appraisal committee. 

Upon receiving a for work injury inpatient rehabilitation application that has passed the preliminary review, the municipal labor capacity appraisal committee will organize work injury rehabilitation experts to assess whether the injured worker has rehabilitation potential. 

A confirmation opinion will be made within 15 days from the date of acceptance of the application and sent to the employer, the injured worker or their immediate family members, as well as the designated work injury rehabilitation institution. In special circumstances, the time limit for issuing the confirmation opinion can be extended by an additional 15 days.

Currently, there are seven designated inpatient rehabilitation institutions for work injury in the city, which are:
