The WorldSkills Competition General Assembly 2025 was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on Oct 13.

During the opening session, organizers unveiled the preparation plans and service package for the Shanghai 48th WorldSkills Competition, scheduled to take place in Shanghai from Sept 22 to 27, 2026.

A total of 11 former WorldSkills champions were appointed as "WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 Global Dream Ambassadors" in the city.
