2025 goals: Jinshan district emphasizes people-centered governance

Jinshan district unveiled six key priorities for 2025 during the sixth Session of the seventh Jinshan District People's Congress on Jan 7, emphasizing a people-centered approach to strengthen its economy and overall development.

The district aims to boost its industrial growth, unlock investment and consumption potential. It will strengthen technological innovation, energize business entities and promote high-quality economic progress.

The People's well-being remains at the core of the district's development, focusing on improving the quality of life, ensuring access to quality education and safeguarding public health. The district will strive to meet the aspirations of its residents for a better life.

Key efforts will be made to improve urban functions and quality. The district plans to enhance urban infrastructure, optimize the ecological environment and refine urban management to improve the city's quality of life and work. The goal is to foster a more vibrant and sustainable urban environment.

Rural vitalization will also be a priority, with accelerated efforts to strengthen modern agriculture and promote rural construction. The district will continue to develop pathways to empower villages and improve the livelihoods of residents.

Cultural development will be emphasized through better public cultural services, the deep integration of culture and tourism and the rapid development of sports. These measures aim to enhance the district's cultural influence and its soft power.

Finally, the district will prioritize public safety by reinforcing workplace safety, urban resilience and social governance.
