The Chinese Business Program of the 2023 Shanghai Summer School has recently concluded, providing a valuable and rewarding opportunity for international participants.

Held by the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in collaboration with industry partners, the program aimed to deepen understanding of China's business environment and encourage cross-cultural exchange.

The participants engaged in online classes to learn business Mandarin and attended lectures on various topics related to China's business landscape. They also explored real-life case studies on the Chinese market, financial investments, real estate, and sustainable economy.

During the program, industry experts delivered lectures that offered direct insight into China's economy, business strategies, and cultural subtleties. The program also encouraged an entrepreneurial mindset, enabling participants to apply theoretical knowledge to practical use in real-world business scenarios.

"The Chinese teaching has a balanced rhythm, providing a great experiential learning experience. Teachers encourage us to think and express ourselves, greatly enhancing my speaking skills," said a Thai participant.

"The Chinese classes have greatly aided my work with detailed and clear grammar analysis and practical exercises. The sharing of case studies and perspectives by experts and scholars in trade, finance, real estate, and entrepreneurship has been inspiring," said a Russian student.

"The business practice was challenging, but with guidance, my group successfully created a startup plan. In the future, I might start a company and develop a useful app," said a participant from Russia.
