Through 18 days of intensive study and practical activities, the program aimed to build a dynamic platform for young people – one that fosters academic discussion with depth, promotes innovative practice with strength, and encourages international exchange with warmth.

Instead of conventional models, the curriculum featured specialized courses on thermal functional materials and energy-saving technologies, taught by academicians and leading experts from China and abroad.

Students participated in laboratory sessions, corporate visits, and cultural excursions, exploring subjects such as building energy efficiency, thermal management, and solar thermal applications. They combined theory with practical experience through group experiments and project presentations.

A field visit to the Yangtze River Delta offered students first-hand insights into China's green development strategies. The visit covered areas from industrial production to rural vitalization projects, presenting China's innovative sustainability strategies.

SSPU President Xie Huaqing presented completion certificates and delivered closing remarks. He highlighted the importance of cross-cultural collaboration, pointing out that mixed Chinese-foreign student teams embodied a two-way exchange in science and culture. He urged students to approach research with a problem-solving mindset, foster intercultural understanding, and assume global responsibilities. He also expressed that SSPU is set to continue to be a lifelong "research station" for those dedicated to creating a greener future.

A recap video revisited the highlights of the 18-day journey, celebrating academic exploration, rich cultural exchange and lasting friendships forged throughout the program.
