UnionPay cardholders can enjoy safe and convenient mobile payment services, including QR code-based payments and contactless payments (refers to UnionPay Mobile QuickPass service).

UnionPay QR code payment offers receiving and paying as well as value-added services via QR code. It mainly provides solutions for spending, transferring and cash withdrawal, and has two modes: the Push Mode (purchasers use their mobile App to scan the QR code presented by the merchant to initiate the payment) and the Pull Mode (merchants use QR code reader to scan the QR code in customer's App to initiate the payment).

Here is the activating process:

(1) Download the UnionPay App in APP store and other Android application markets;

(2) Register: Select "Me" -- Select "Register" -- Register with your mobile phone number -- Enter SMS verification code -- Set login password -- Registration successful;

(3) Add cards and complete real-name authentication, and activate in-app payment function:

a. Press card management and select "+" to either enter card number or scan bank cards

b. Fill in personal information

c. Enter SMS verification code

d. Type in and confirm your payment password

(4) Done.

UnionPay Mobile QuickPass service adopts NFC and Token technologies, enabling offline contactless payment via mobile devices.

Here is the activating process: 

(1) Activate the e-wallet and log in the wallet account;

(2) Click to add card;

(3) Fill in card information;

(4) Enter SMS verification code and activate card;

(5) Pay with UnionPay Mobile QuickPass.
