Shanghai's Hongkou district welcomed a new member to its roster of municipal-level foreign-funded research and development centers — Seeburger Software (Shanghai) Co Ltd.

The company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of German software company Seeburger AG, specializes in delivering customizable digital integration solutions to help businesses build more efficient, secure, and sustainable digital environments.

Founded in 1986, Seeburger employs more than 1,200 people worldwide and offers a range of services, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid integration solutions.

These services are intended to simplify business processes, drive digital transformation and innovation, reduce operational costs, promote standardized management, and provide end-to-end supply chain visibility, maximizing enterprise resource planning benefits and improving overall business efficiency.

Hongkou is committed to deepening opening-up to foreign investment. By implementing eight key action plans to enhance the quality and capacity of foreign-funded headquarters, the district seeks to strengthen support for multinational corporations establishing headquarters and R&D centers.

These efforts are part of a broader strategy to continuously improve the business environment and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the headquarters economy.
