"The Shanghai court was like a 'timely rain', strongly supporting us in trade secret protection," remarked Adrian Hamczyk, a Polish computer-aided engineering (CAE) manager at Tesla Shanghai.
When the company found out that an employee had illicitly downloaded the company's trade secrets and reported it to the authorities, the Pudong New Area People's Court issued an order following the law within 48 hours of the case filing.
As Tesla built its first overseas Megafactory for energy storage in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area, Hamczyk expressed his confidence: "With the judicial system providing strong protection, we will continue to move forward together with this city and achieve mutual success."
