Bystronic Shanghai, a subsidiary of the Switzerland-based sheet metal processing company Bystronic, has been certified as a regional headquarters of the multinational corporation.

The certification, granted by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, makes Bystronic Shanghai the 23rd MNC regional headquarters in Songjiang district and the first in Dongjing town.

Bystronic, which began its Shanghai operations in Dongjing in 2024, operates across multiple sectors including agricultural machinery, construction, automotive, kitchenware, and aerospace. The company employs over 3,200 people in more than 40 regions worldwide.

The town has developed a strong headquarters economy through regular communication with enterprises, tailored policy support, and the establishment of resource platforms aligned with international standards, providing robust backing in areas such as capital and talent to foster enterprise growth.
