Xylem, a US-based water technology provider, chose Shanghai for its China headquarters due to the city's strengths in regulatory transparency, administrative efficiency, and appeal to talent, said Zhao Donghui, president of Xylem China.

"Shanghai is not only home to beautiful waterfronts, but also boasts a strong concentration of talent, along with an open and inclusive environment," said Zhao. "The efficient services provided by various levels of government in Shanghai enable us to bring global innovations in water technology to China more quickly."
