CIIE travel made easy: Parking, shuttles, and more
Parking reservations are now open for the ninth China International Import Expo (CIIE), which will be held from Nov 5 to 10 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The "CIIE Transportation Services Zone" is also available, providing exhibitors and visitors with one-stop access to travel information and services.
This year, the zone introduced an AI travel assistant named "Xiao Jiao". Users can ask questions by text or voice to obtain transport information.
How to access the transportation services
There are two ways to enter the zone:
Option 1: Scan the QR code below to access the CIIE Transportation Services Zone directly.

Option 2: Open the Suishenxing (随申行) app or WeChat mini-program and tap the CIIE Transportation Services Zone on the homepage. The zone supports both Chinese and English.
Once inside, tap "Start Chat" to interact with Xiao Jiao. The assistant will display relevant service cards based on your questions. Tap the card to access the corresponding information or service.

How to reserve a parking space
Tap "Parking Reservation" on the homepage, or ask Xiao Jiao to direct you to the parking reservation system.
Step 1: Select a parking area from the three options: "Pick-up/Drop-off", "Around CIIE", or "Hongqiao".

Step 2: Choose a parking lot and tap "Reserve now".
Step 3: Select your preferred date and time slot, enter your vehicle's license plate number, and complete the reservation.

All designated parking lots around the CIIE venue are included in the reservation system and accept same-day bookings. Parking spaces outside the restricted area can be reserved online up to one hour before arrival. However, visitors are advised to book at least one day in advance to secure a space.
How to check your parking permit
After completing your reservation, return to the "Parking Reservation" section and tap "My Reservation".
You can view your reserved parking lot, date, time slot, license plate number, and other booking details.
Important: Download your parking permit in advance and print it in color on both sides. Display the printed permit on the front of your vehicle for inspection. Once the parking permit is issued, the reservation cannot be canceled.
How to navigate to the venue
Before setting off, ask Xiao Jiao for driving directions to your reserved parking lot.
The assistant will display a journey-planning card with a recommended driving route and an option to start navigation directly to the parking lot.
After parking, you can ask Xiao Jiao for walking directions to the venue entrance. The assistant will provide location-specific guidance, including a video showing the route from your parking lot to the venue.
Public transport and shuttle services
In addition to parking reservations and driving directions, the zone provides information on shuttle buses, metro, hotel transfers, taxis, and ride-hailing services.
During the CIIE, bus and shuttle services will include the extended CIIE special service on Bus Route 71, four dedicated shuttle routes, six parking-lot shuttle routes, and four hotel shuttle routes linking the venue to 56 hotels.
Visitors can use the map in the zone to locate shuttle stops, and taxi and ride-hailing pick-up and drop-off points.
If transport arrangements change due to heavy passenger or vehicle traffic during the expo, visitors can check the announcements at the top of the zone's homepage for real-time updates.
