The extension, change, reissuance, and cancellation of the 'Foreigner's Work Permit' can be fully processed online by the employer, without the need to physically submit documents for verification on-site.

Documents required:

For extension of the Foreigner's Work Permit

1. Application Form for Extension of Foreigner's Work Permit

2. Employment contract or employment certificate

3. Passport or international travel certificate

4. Applicant's valid work-type residence permit

5. For foreign talents such as legal persons making investment or innovative entrepreneurship and small investors: Those who have a physical office shall submit the documents required, including but not limited to operating status, taxes, and social security payment; those with virtual registration shall submit the documents required, including but not limited to operating status, taxes, and social security payment.

6. Letter of commitment indicating that all the issues concerning the Foreigner's Work Permit in China will be handled online.

Notes

1. If the employer continues to employ the applicant at the same position (occupation), it shall submit the application to the decision-making authority 30 days or more before the expiration date of the applicant's work permit.

2. Those who apply for an extension through salary commitment shall submit the relevant certificate.

3. For pre-approval by the industry competent authority by law, an approval document of the industry competent authority shall be provided.

4. After the online approval, the employer shall update the chip information of the Foreigner's Work Permit at the reception windows, with the Foreigner's Work Permit.
