Shanghai University of Political Science and Law
Since its establishment in 1984, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (SHUPL) has been striving to become a first-class "application-oriented" university with distinctive advantages in politic science and law.
According to the 2020 Academic Ranking of World Universities, SHUPL ranked fourth among political science and law universities in China.
The university prioritises legal studies, but other subjects such as political science, Marxist theory studies, sociology, economics, management, literature, education, journalism, and art, have all been developing in a coordinated way.

SHUPL advocates the idea of integrating education and international relations. It has relationships with more than 100 universities and institutions throughout the world, and it takes part in many international exchange programmes.
