Shanghai University of Electric Power
Founded in 1951, Shanghai University of Electric Power (SUEP) is a comprehensive school with a focus on engineering. It also offers disciplines in science, management, economics and the humanities.
The university offers 40 undergraduate programs and has more than 1,200 faculty numbers and over 15,000 students.
The university is equipped with 17 scientific research platforms above ministerial and provincial levels and specialises in energy and electricity research. It has won 77 science and technology awards above ministerial and provincial levels, three of which were at national level.

The university actively pursues international cooperation and exchanges, and is connected with many universities abroad. It has long-term international students from foreign countries and also regularly invites foreign scholars to teach or to do research at its campus.
The university currently cooperates with several overseas partners to train students and conduct exchange programs.
According to its development plan, the university is aiming to become a high-level applied research university with distinctive characteristics in energy and power programs by 2025.
