Sanda University
Sanda University is a full-time private university devoted to a multi-disciplinary, international, and high-quality education for applied technology and the training high-quality talents for economic and social development.
It was founded by professors from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Peking University, and Tsinghua University in 1992.

In March 2002, it was approved as a full-time undergraduate college by the Ministry of Education, becoming the first private undergraduate college in Shanghai.
The university covers an area of about 53.87 hectares in total and consists of two campuses located in Pudong New Area, Shanghai and Jiashan county, Zhejiang province.
It has over 16,600 full-time students, including 15,600 undergraduates, and over 970 full-time teachers.
The university has eight core disciplines: economics, law, literature, engineering, management, art, medicine, and education, with 46 undergraduate majors.

The university has undertaken a number of major projects in an effort to develop a national off-campus practical education center for college students and an experimental centre for innovation and entrepreneurship education.
The university has recruited foreign teachers and teachers with international backgrounds to strengthen its teaching team and has established cooperative relations with over 150 institutions in 28 countries and regions to develop talent training programs.
