Chenshan Botanical Garden

The expansive lawn at Chenshan Botanical Garden is one of Shanghai's finest. As you gaze around, you're greeted by a lush sea of green, with distant mountains and nearby waters providing a serene backdrop. On the grassy slope stands the "lonely tree", perfect for capturing stunning photos. Climb to the top of the hill and step into a floral wonderland to embrace the season's beauty!

Taopu Central Greenbelt

Enter through Gate 7, where the hydrangeas resemble a spilled palette. Pink, blue, and purple blooms intertwine, creating a stunning summertime tapestry. On a nearby hillside, white clovers, commonly known as lucky clovers, are in full bloom, resembling a sea of green and white. Head towards Yichi Garden and wander through a vibrant floral path with million bells (Calibrachoa elegans), balsam and salvia surrounding you at every step.

Fudeli Park

Step into Fudeli Park, where red maples, azaleas, rocks, winding paths and thick mist evoke the beauty and tranquility of nature. The central scenic lake features a waterfall cascading down from an artificial hill, and the park's azaleas are now in full bloom, resembling a magnificent cloud of colors descending to earth.

Bajing Garden

Nestled within Jing'an Park, the Bajing (eight scenery) Garden is open to the public for free. Although small, it is intricately designed, with expertly arranged landscapes and flora. The garden is filled with greenery, along with artificial rocks and caves, showcasing all the elements of a classical garden.

Expo Culture Park

Located on the southeast side of the Shanghai Expo Culture Park, the Twin Hills spans 300,000 square meters, with a 48-meter-high main peak and a 37-meter-high secondary peak. Descend past a beautiful artificial waterfall, which operates from 9 am to 4 pm. If you don’t feel like making the strenuous climb up the Twin Hills, just lie on the 15,000-square-meter lawn by the lake and enjoy the view!
