Flower picking and preservation guide

  • Best time to visit: Early morning from 7 to 9 am or late afternoon after 5 pm, when flowers are at their freshest and most fragrant.
  • Picking tips: Use sharp scissors to cut stems at a 45-degree angle, leaving five to eight leaves on each stem. For roses, harvest blooms when the outer petals have just begun to open. This helps extend their vase life.
  • Keeping flowers fresh: Place stems in water immediately after cutting. Once home, trim an additional 1-2 centimeters from the bottom of each stem at an angle, add flower preservative, change the water daily, and keep arrangements away from direct airflow from air conditioners.
