Shanghai Blooming Garden in Jinshan district offers two main autumn attractions, blending seasonal flower displays with weekend interactive activities.

Autumn scenery: Seasonal flowers and ornamental grasses

Kochia fields

Cultivated since 2019 on 200 mu (13.3 hectares) of land, the round, bushy kochia plants turn from green to red in October and take on reddish-brown hues in November.

Gesang flower zone

The garden groups several flowers under the name gesang, a term associated with happiness and good fortune in the Xizang autonomous region. This zone features cosmos, globe amaranth in shades of pink, purple, and red, and zinnias.
