As an integral part of the 2024 World Design Capital Conference, the event merges culture, fashion, technology, and branding to create a platform for showcasing and exchanging ideas, fostering a profound integration of Shanghai-style culture and international folk traditions.

The event opened with the melodious strains of traditional Chinese zither music, introducing the International Shanghai Business Style – 5E Qipao Fashion Exhibition. The show seamlessly blended traditional qipao (a traditional Chinese dress for women) with modern business attire, showcasing the innovative productivity of the Shanghai qipao industry.

The ceremony also featured honorary certificates awarded to leading Shanghai qipao brands and the presentation of awards for the 2024 International Folk Gifts Innovative Design Contest, recognizing outstanding contributions to the fashion industry and intangible cultural heritage preservation.
