Call for registration: 2nd International Business Simulation Competition

The 2nd International Business Simulation Competition will begin at the end of October. This event aims to develop international students' business decision-making skills and global perspectives, while promoting the use and development of Chinese in the international business environment. Participants will engage in real-world business decision-making simulations, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application to enhance their strategic thinking.

The competition encourages participants to form interdisciplinary teams from various colleges, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration. The event also integrates sustainable development and social responsibility into decision-making processes, aligning with the goal of fostering moral and intellectual growth. Additionally, it highlights China's international vision and promotes the use of Chinese in global business contexts, creating a unique feature for international student education in China.

01 Schedule

The competition consists of two stages: the preliminary round and the final round, spanning from late October to mid-November.

Registration deadline: Oct 18. Successfully registered institutions will receive further participation guidelines via email.

Preliminary round: Oct 22 to 29, conducted online. Participants must submit their competition entries online by the designated deadline. This round includes simulation competitions and written team introductions.

Final round: Nov 12 to 13, held on-site at the International Cultural Exchange School, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. The final round includes business simulations, team introductions (in Chinese), and business case analyses.

Training session: Nov 14. The organizers will conduct nationwide training activities for simulation instructors, with specific schedules and registration methods to be announced through relevant channels.

02 Registration information

Registration fee: Free. No additional fees for the final round; travel and accommodation expenses for attending the final on-site are self-funded.

Eligibility: Open to international students studying in China (degree level is not limited). Teams can consist of members of the same or different nationalities.

- Each team should consist of two to four members from the same university.

- Each team must include one instructor from their university. Instructors are permitted to guide multiple teams.

Registration method: Institutions should complete the registration form and return it to yafang.gao@cesim.com by the deadline to complete the registration. Further participation guidelines will be communicated via email.

Please Note: Each institution is limited to one registration form. Institutions should designate a liaison to coordinate communication with the competition committee. Key information (such as preliminary and final round guidelines) will be distributed via email to the institutional contact. If no email response is received by the start of the preliminary round, please contact the organizer's email again.

- Grand Prize (one team): Generous cash prize + honorary certificate + exquisite gifts

- First Prize (multiple teams): Cash prize + honorary certificate + exquisite gifts

- Second Prize (multiple teams): Cash prize + honorary certificate + exquisite gifts

- Third Prize (multiple teams): Honorary certificate

Competition Language: The competition languages are English and Chinese. The Cesim simulation platform will provide over 20 languages. In the final round, team introductions must be in Chinese, and business presentations must be in English.
