The Shanghai Chemical Industry Park and the Shanghai Institute of Technology will host an autumn campus recruitment fair on Oct 18.

This event is designed to foster university-industry collaboration, catering to the employment needs of 2025 graduates and driving the integration of talent and industry.

In recent years, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Education has enhanced the strategic distribution of higher education resources, prioritizing pivotal sectors such as integrated circuits, biomedicine, and artificial intelligence. Universities have responded by refining their curricula to emphasize disciplines with high societal demand and notable talent shortages.

For instance, Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, in conjunction with East China University of Science and Technology, held an autumn recruitment fair on Oct 14. Nine companies, including Evonik, SCIP Sino French Water, Synthomer, and Sinopec Catalyst, presented over 30 positions in chemical engineering, materials science, and environmental protection.
