The 7th International Education Conference for Belt and Road Countries was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on Nov 28.

The conference saw participation from 40 domestic universities, including Tongji University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Beijing Institute of Technology, as well as 25 secondary schools and universities from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative such as Malaysia, Thailand, and Kazakhstan.

Since its inception in 2017, the conference has been held seven times, attracting hundreds of higher education institutions from home and abroad.

This year's conference featured a main venue for one-on-one meeting sessions between Chinese and international universities, along with sub-venues where experienced overseas representatives provided details about their national education systems and the requirements for studying in China.
