Fudan University was one of the first institutions in China to establish postdoctoral research stations and currently operates 40 postdoctoral stations. Since hosting China’s first postdoctoral researcher in 1985, Fudan has recruited nearly 10,000 postdoctoral fellows, with over 2,000 currently working at the university.

Position availability

Fudan University offers 500 full-time postdoctoral positions, including approximately 250 "Super Postdoctoral" positions. These opportunities are open to outstanding candidates worldwide.

Eligibility requirements

1. Adherence to proper political and moral values; commitment to academic integrity and ethical conduct; in good health.

2. Under the age of 35 (exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates).

3. A doctoral degree, or imminent completion of a doctoral degree, with academic excellence, a solid professional foundation, and strong potential for future contributions.

4. Compliance with any additional requirements specified by the targeted postdoctoral research station.

Compensation and benefits

1. Competitive salaries: Annual salaries for full-time postdoctoral positions range from 180,000 yuan ($24,553.14) to 200,000 yuan; for "Super Postdoctoral" positions, salaries range from 230,000 to 500,000 yuan.
