Plan ahead for Tongji University's spectacular cherry blossom

Attention all cherry blossom lovers planning to visit Tongji University!

From March 22 to April 13, 2025, the Siping Road campus of Tongji University will implement limited access during the cherry blossom season.

For the Jiading, Huxi, and Hubei campuses, entry procedures remain unchanged. Visitors can enter these campuses by swiping their resident ID cards at the turnstile gate, while overseas visitors can enter with their passports or other valid identification.

Please note that vehicle entry is currently not permitted, and social motor vehicles are prohibited on campus. Visitors wishing to enjoy the blooms must make a reservation in advance to enter the campus on foot.

Reservation process (Siping Road campus only)

To make a reservation, scan the QR code below to access the external visitor reservation system. Fill in your personal details to secure a free reservation for the following day. Only individual reservations are accepted; group reservations are not available.

Once your reservation is confirmed, you can enter the campus by swiping your ID card or presenting your passport at the designated entrance.

Tongji University alumni can enter the Siping Road campus directly with their electronic alumni cards with no reservation.

Entry hours: Weekdays from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm and weekends from 7 am to 8:30 pm.

Important notes:

  • Reservation confirmations are strictly for personal use and cannot be transferred.
  • Pets are not allowed on campus.
  • The use of drones and other aircraft is prohibited.
  • The university has not authorized any external agencies or individuals to provide reservation or visiting services. Please be cautious of any paid services.
