Innovation and cutting-edge technology are set to take center stage at the upcoming 10th China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair, where enterprises are gearing up to showcase their most advanced products in the realms of artificial intelligence and digitalization. With the themed "Exploring a Green Future in the Digital Era", the fair is slated to unfold from June 12 to 14 at the prestigious Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, featuring exhibitors from over 10 countries and regions.

One standout at the fair is the G60 Commercial Cryptography Industrial Park, which was established in 2018 as a testament to Shanghai's commitment to driving innovation and development within the commercial cryptography industry. More than 30 enterprises have already found a home in this burgeoning hub. Hu Yongbiao, the manager of the industrial park, emphasized its focus on bolstering the cybersecurity, data security, and personal information protection sectors, while also nurturing the healthy growth of the digital economy through integrated industry development.

Shanghai XunTai Quantum Technology Co, Ltd, is poised to unveil the latest in commercial cryptography—quantum encryption—at the fair. This cutting-edge technology utilizes quantum physics principles to encrypt and transmit private information, thus ensuring unparalleled security and countering theft attempts.

Artificial intelligence strides forward with YITU Technology, a prominent enterprise that is deeply entrenched in the AI industry. YITU Tech is showcasing its TianWen Computer Vision Multi-Modal Large Model at the fair. Launched in 2023, this model harmonizes the representation spaces of language and vision, embodying characteristics of thoughtfulness, conversational abilities, and adaptability, as described by YITU Tech President Duan Aiguo. Duan emphasized that the transformer structure adopted by the model has notably enhanced its capacity to comprehend and process complex data. Duan also highlighted that the model is capable of retrieving related videos from a database based via spoken keywords.

The MMLM model has already found utility in various scenarios, including enhancing security at major events, managing traffic violations, and optimizing public service delivery in the security and government sectors.
