Turkish expatriate Welit, who is engaged in foreign trade work between China and Turkey, recently visited the Dapuqiao Subdistrict Community Health Service Center in East Shanghai's Huangpu district with an unwell colleague.

The warm environment and attentive service of the medical staff at the center, located at No 712 Liyuan Road, left a lasting impression on him.

The spacious, well-lit lobby and the considerate, patient-centric approach of the medical staff touched Welit and his friend during their visit.

The doctors not only carefully inquired about the patient's condition but also tailored a personalized treatment plan for her.

Welit expressed his admiration for the hospital's service ethos, citing a previous encounter with a reassuring sign at the entrance that read: "Someone is always there, a light is always on."

This, coupled with the latest experience, made him feel genuinely at home.

He also commended the hospital's extended consultation hours, introduced last year to accommodate different patient schedules, including weekday nights and weekends.

Jin Ying, the director of the service center, said the aim was to provide year-round, patient-first services and enhance the overall patient experience so that residents could access medical care without any disruption to their daily lives and routines.
