Diplomats explore Shanghai's people-centered urban governance

Thirty diplomats and envoys from 20 countries gathered in Shanghai on Sept 7 for the launch of the "Explore People-Centered Cities: China's Governance, Global Engagement (Shanghai and Jiangsu)" tour that runs through Sept 11.
The delegation visited the Shanghai People's City Practice Exhibition Hall and attended the opening ceremony. In the evening, they embarked on cruises along the Suzhou Creek and the Huangpu River. The journey provided the diplomats with a firsthand look at Shanghai's refined approach to large city governance and its vibrant urban transformation.
