Employees who take extended sick leave may become ineligible for paid annual leave, contingent upon their length of service.

According to China's labor regulations, the policy is as follows:

You will not be eligible for annual leave this year if your sick leave reaches:

• Two months or more, and you've worked one to 10 years
• Three months or more, and you've worked 10 to 20 years
• Four months or more, and you've worked more than 20 years

If your sick leave is shorter than the applicable threshold, you will remain eligible for your full annual leave.
