From alpaca strolls to mushroom foraging, these delightful destinations offer both urbanites and their children a refreshing rural escape.

 

Wild Wild World

Spanning over 12 hectares, in Chongming district, Wild Wild World is home to more than 60 gentle, starry-eyed alpacas. Visitors can feed the fluffy animals carrots and enjoy up-close encounters and healing outdoor moments.

Lijiang Ecological Park

Bordering Jiangsu province's Taicang, Lijiang Ecological Park boasts over 15,000 fruit trees and 3.33 hectares of vibrant vegetables. Guests can milk cows, collect eggs, and pick fresh seasonal fruits.

Idol Farm – Into the Field

Nestled in Fangxia village, Qingpu district, Idol Farm – Into the Field offers forest campsites and riverside views. Surrounded by farmland, the pet-friendly site includes bonfire zones, animal feeding areas with cows, sheep, and deer, and a serene atmosphere ideal for camping and relaxation.

Mo Farm

Mo Farm is a natural family destination themed around mushroom culture, blending smart agriculture with rural aesthetics across 7.2 hectares. Visitors can handpick mushrooms, join culinary and craft workshops, and explore the full lifecycle of fungi in this educational wonderland.

Lexiangu community farm

Covering 5.73 hectares in Haiwan village, Lexiangu community farm features eco-planting fields, interactive pet zones, and a forest-themed playground filled with non-motorized attractions. Ideal for family trips, the farm allows visitors to engage in seasonal farming and pick organic produce.
