Plum blossom festival opens in Jinshan

The 5th Plum Blossom Festival opened on Feb 12 at Huicui Garden in Jinshan district. Entrance free to all.
The 1.2-hectare garden is currently blooming with plum blossoms, and in two weeks, it will become a stunning sight, with over 120 plum trees.
In Chinese culture, the plum blossom is revered as one of the "Four Gentlemen", alongside the orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum. It symbolizes integrity and resilience, serving as an enduring source of inspiration and spiritual solace for generations of literati.
The plum blossom festival will run until March 12.
