Ready for a family adventure over the Dragon Boat Festival holiday? Mark your calendar for the 2025 Changning Family Orienteering Race.

Grab your loved ones and a map! Stick together as a team, hit each checkpoint in order, and race back to claim your medal. All on foot and within the time limit.

When: Monday, June 2, 2025, 8:30 am –11:30 am

Where: Xinhongqiao Central Garden, No 2238 West Yan'an Road, Changning district

Fee: Free of charge

Route:

The race will start at the lawn of Xinhongqiao Central Garden and follow the lakeside trail. Runners will stop at four checkpoints where they need to solve the task, crack the code, then return to the registration spot to unlock their medal box!

Rules:

• Teams will set off every five minutes.
• Manual timing, all team members must cross the finish line together.
• Every team will have 1.5 hours from the time they start. Miss it, and the finisher's medal won't be received.

Other things to know:

• Open only to families working or studying in Changning district.
• A team can have no more than three members, including at least one child aged 7–15 and one adult aged 18–60; ID is required.
• One registration slot per person.
• Provided equipment: Backpacks, clothing, bib numbers, and task maps; you can also bring your own equipment.
