An online appointments process has been expedited for international talent holding permanent residence ID cards at the Lin-gang branch of the Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital.

With their foreign permanent residence ID card number, name and mobile phone number, expats can make online appointments via the official account of the Lin-gang branch of the Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital. The process is as follows:

1. Scan the QR code to follow the official account of the Lin-gang branch of the Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital and select Medical Service, Outpatient Appointment.

2. Choose the "Appointment Department", "Appointment Date" and "Appointment Period" in order.

3. Add a medical card: Switch to "International Talents Holding Permanent Residence Identity Cards", enter the permanent residence ID card number, change the card type to self-funded medical card, then click to verify information. A notification of successful card binding will appear.

4. On the day of the hospital visit, register via the official account of the Lin-gang branch of the Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital and go to the corresponding diagnosis area for treatment. 

5. When undergoing testing, examinations or receiving medication, produce your electronic medical card by selecting "Me" and "Personal Center" in order.
