As part of the ongoing 2025 Shanghai Shopping Festival which runs to the end of June, Shanghai's Hongkou district is presenting an exciting array of cultural, tourism, business, sports and exhibition activities to stimulate consumer spending.

Here're some highlights:

From April 18 to May 11, the CapitaLand Hongkou Plaza is hosting an urban-nature-themed marketplace, featuring over 30 stands offering creative lifestyle products in a nature-inspired setting. The event invites shoppers to experience a refreshing blend of cultural aesthetics and retail enjoyment.

In early May, the Sinar Mas Plaza will host the Feel Good Festival, centered around sustainable living. Visitors can explore a variety of eco-conscious food and beverage options, lifestyle pop-ups, interactive zones and pet-friendly features that encourage greener consumption habits.

To further enhance the Shanghai Wine & Spirits Festival, Hongkou is also launching a series of wine-themed events that combine culture, tourism and commerce.

Shopping malls like Ruihong Tiandi, Raffles City (North Bund) and others on North Suzhou Road will also host a wide range of cross-industry wine experiences, positioning the district as a dynamic hub for wine culture and consumer innovation.
