Sara Dervishi, a student from Albania, is one of the few expat museum guides in Shanghai. Having moved to China with her parents at the age of nine, she has lived in the city for over a decade. Currently studying at the School of Humanities at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Dervishi offers a unique perspective on China's history and culture, providing audiences with a fresh view of both the country and the city of Shanghai.

For Dervishi, being a guide has been a rewarding experience. "After becoming a tour guide, I've also gained a deeper understanding of history. And maybe I've found even more reasons to love this city," she says.
