Talent service counters at the Bund Service Center for International Professionals officially opened on May 6, offering a wide range of services for global professionals living and working in Shanghai.

Located in Huangpu district, the center provides 36 public service items, including applications for the Shanghai Residence Card (Type B), residency support for returned overseas students, and housing assistance. In addition, the center handles a broad spectrum of everyday services covering healthcare, education, entertainment, internships and entrepreneurship support.

Window No 10 stands out as a city-district joint service model. It offers over 10 customized services for individuals and enterprises, such as international relocation, document translation, payroll and tax support, medical insurance, business, welfare, health management and flexible employment — creating a one-stop service ecosystem for global professionals.

To improve accessibility for non-Chinese speakers, the information desk is supported by a dual team of service concierges and foreign volunteers. Multilingual guidance and step-by-step assistance are available, along with resources like A Guide for Overseas Talent and a detailed public service checklist to help users quickly access essential policy and lifestyle information.

On May 13, the Huangpu district exit-entry administration service center will join the Bund center. In addition to handling standard procedures such as work permits, visa applications and permanent residence for foreign nationals, the center will open a green channel for high-level talent, offering streamlined services such as acceptance with incomplete documentation.

To support innovation and entrepreneurship, a startup incubation area has been set up on the west side of the 7th floor, providing 50 workstations for incoming teams and individuals.

For enhanced convenience, a self-service zone on the east side of the first floor features three smart visa terminals and two automatic document dispensers, allowing users to complete procedures in as little as five minutes—no appointment or trip upstairs required. The area also includes an international ATM with real-time currency exchange in 18 currencies, as well as an all-in-one multilingual service kiosk offering guidance on business, travel and daily life in nine languages.

Location: 1st and 7th floors, Bund Square, No 100 South Zhongshan Road, Huangpu district

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm (excluding national holidays). Exit-entry services are available on Saturdays.
