The Fefferman Lab, named after Fields Medal recipient Charles Fefferman and launched by Feishu China, has recently visited several schools across Shanghai. Through academic symposiums, science workshops, and other interactive activities, the initiative seeks to ignite young people's enthusiasm for mathematics and physics.

As a leading mathematics research and innovation platform located in Putuo district, Feishu China is dedicated to creating an inclusive mathematics education ecosystem and establishing Putuo as a hub for global mathematical talent.

Feishu China organized academic symposiums at East China Normal University and ShanghaiTech University, led by Professor Diego Cordoba, director of the Fefferman Lab. The discussions centered on a longstanding and complex issue in mathematical fluid dynamics — the global regularity and finite-time singularity formation in solutions to the incompressible Euler and Navier-Stokes equations.

The symposiums offered faculty and students valuable insights into contemporary mathematical theories of fluid dynamics, encouraging academic exchange and critical thinking in related disciplines.

The Fefferman Lab also visited the School Affiliated to ShanghaiTech University and the YK Pao School, providing science workshops directly for students. Through interactive discussions and practical experiments, students enhanced their understanding of fundamental concepts such as fluid mechanics, pressure, and lift.
