Shanghai's nighttime cultural and tourism hotspots unveiled

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced on Jan 25 the third batch of national nighttime consumption clusters, including four areas in Shanghai.

Located in Shanghai's Changning district, Yuyuan Road is a national tourism and leisure district. It aims to cultivate a lively nighttime culture and tourism scene by incorporating diverse industries, trendy brands and rich experiences.

Moganshan Road Cultural Block

Situated in Shanghai's Putuo district, Moganshan Road Cultural Block showcases a diverse nighttime economic development pattern, providing a variety of shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural experiences, including international brands and influential cultural and tourism activities. Visitors can take a nighttime stroll to enjoy the scenery of Suzhou Creek along the riverfront walkway.

Ye Hongqiao Trendy Block

Spanning 2 square kilometers in Shanghai's Minhang district, Ye Hongqiao Trendy Block features a range of consumption activities and venues and entertainment facilities, creating a comprehensive nighttime economic pattern that integrates culture, commerce and tourism.

World Expo Area and Qiantan Area

As a cultural hub in the Pudong New Area, the World Expo Area and Qiantan Area are home to high-end facilities, including the China Art Museum Shanghai and the Mercedes-Benz Arena. It hosts top global events, exhibitions, and performances, attracting millions of visitors annually and offering significant business opportunities.
