Shanghai's How Art Museum to relaunch night program

Shanghai's How Art Museum will relaunch its night program in celebration of International Museum Day on May 18.

Following the reopening, the operating hours of the museum will be from 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Tuesday through Friday. On weekends and holidays, the hours will be extended from 12 pm to 10 pm, allowing visitors to enjoy the exhibitions more conveniently after work or school.

The How Art Museum aims to provide exhibitions, shows, dining options, performances, shopping experiences, and entertainment at nighttime for visitors who prefer to visit in the later hours.

The museum will introduce a series of live performances, videos, installations, salons, live DJ sets, beer, kebabs, and other forms of entertainment.

The museum's three floors are currently showcasing four exhibitions by five artists focusing on photography, video, and installations.

On the first floor, Maleonn and Li Xiaoliang's collaborative exhibition Twilight of the Ritual is presented through two distinct solo showcases — Nostalgia of the Mundane by Maleonn and The Light of Safaring by Li Xiaoliang.
Moving to the second floor, visitors can explore Yang Yongliang's solo exhibition Vanishing Shore.
On the third floor, Li Hanwei's solo exhibition Just Drill It and Xu Jinjin's research-based art project Against This Earth, She Knocks are set to captivate audiences with their interactive and dreamlike experience.
