Explore the over 600 species of tropical plants and more than 100 varieties of flowers in the Tropical Botanical Hall; experience the tenacious vitality and exotic charm of xerophytic plants in the Xerophytic Plants Hall; while the Rare Plants Hall tells the story of plant survival and evolution.

Sijing Ancient Town

As a millennium-old town untouched by commercialism, Sijing Ancient Town preserves the unique charm of a Jiangnan water town with architecture dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911). The town is surrounded by flowing waters, crisscrossing streets and alleys, and old bridges.

On a night stroll, you can climb Anfang Tower to overlook the entire town; explore the ancient buildings, and discover the former residence of Ma Xiangbo, the founder of Fudan University, and the residence of Shi Liangcai, a newspaper magnate during the Republic of China era (1911-49).

Shanhe Sports Stadium

Shanhe Sports Stadium provides a variety of traditional sports, such as soccer and tennis, as well as extreme sports like sport climbing and kayaking. 

The tennis courts are equipped with retractable roofs, enabling you to play tennis in all weather.

In addition to sports activities, the stadium also features a parent-child planting garden, a supermarket, and a bar area.
