To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the development and opening up of the Pudong New Area, a spectacular themed light show is set to debut along the banks of the Huangpu River.

Presented by the Pudong New Area Information Office, this immersive audiovisual experience will combine dynamic lighting, music and video across four subject areas — bringing Pudong's remarkable transformation story to life through the magic of light.

Schedule

• April 17-20
• Nightly from 7 pm to 9 pm
• Five shows per night — starting at 7 pm, 7:30 pm, 8 pm, 8:30 pm and 9 pm
• Each show lasts 4 minutes and 18 seconds

Viewing zones

During the show period, both sides of the Huangpu River — from Yangpu Bridge to Lupu Bridge — will be synchronized with light effects to enhance the experience.

Here are the three main viewing zones:

➢ Lujiazui area — From South Pudong Road to Dongchang Road

➢ Minsheng Road Pier — From Minsheng Road to Miaopu Road

➢ Mercedes-Benz Arena & Expo Celebration Square
