Changshou Park in Putuo district reopened on Jan 13 after a full-scale renovation that lasted about 10 months.

The park, spanning about 3.98 hectares and operating 24 hours a day, offers improved accessibility with 10 entrances along Changshou Road, Xikang Road, and North Shaanxi Road.

The renovation focused on integrating the park with the city by removing walls, creating open spaces for all. There are also more green spaces, musical sculptures, water features, a synthetic surface running track, and 49 new seats for resting.

The "trendy play hub" is a 4,000-square-meter area designed for families and children, featuring interactive spaces such as a smart soccer pitch.

Changshou Park now provides 24-hour access to smart public toilets, with enhanced security measures and dimmed lighting at night.

Residents are encouraged to visit during the trial period until Feb 13 and fill out the feedback forms at the entrance to contribute to further improvements.
