The 2025 Michelin Guide Shanghai features a new Two-Star restaurant, five fresh One-Star establishments, a diverse range of over 30 cooking styles, and three outstanding chefs, who were recognized with Special Awards. What’s more, a dim sum restaurant has received its first Michelin Star in the city. 

This year's guide highlights 145 restaurants, including:

• 2 establishments with Three Michelin Stars
• 9 establishments with Two Michelin Stars (1 being newly promoted)
• 41 establishments with One Michelin Star (including 3 newcomers and 2 promotions)
• 30 Bib Gourmand restaurants (including 2 additions, with 2 transitioning from the previous Michelin-selected distinction)
• 63 Michelin-selected restaurants (including 5 new additions)
