Established in 2002, Shanghai Teenagers Extra-Curricular Activities Campsite – Oriental Land offers a 373.33-hectare outdoor site with 16 curriculum practice areas and over 170 teachers and instructors.

Emphasizing national defense education, public safety, study and practice, and labor and creative activities, it serves nearly 1 million young people annually.

The camp supports cultural exchanges, hosts influential national and international events, and serves as a platform for showcasing excellent off-campus activities.

Qiuzhi Island

On Qiuzhi Island, you can explore various plant species, with dozens of rare plants cultivated for learning. Additionally, visitors can delight in picturesque views of the lake and mountains from the island.

Fun Bridges

The Fun Bridges features 18 diverse styles of "bridges", including wave bridges and swing bridges. The activities are designed to enhance participants' courage, strength and willpower, allowing them to experience enjoyment amid thrills and excitement.

Field Training

This is a place for students to master practical wilderness survival skills, where they learn to set up tents, camp, picnic, stand guard, patrol and simulate rescues. This enables students to enhance their knowledge of wilderness survival and develop self-care and self-reliance.

Simulate Aircraft Carrier

A massive "aircraft carrier" is anchored at Oriental Land. This replica, measuring 220 meters in length, 48 meters in width and 46 meters in height, is a 1:1 imitation of the US Navy's Nimitz aircraft carriers. It features a runway and cockpit mirroring those of the original carrier. Visitors can explore large exhibition halls as well as enjoy activities like 4D theaters, simulated gun shooting and target practice.
