Located on the west side of the historic Sihang Warehouse, the Shanghai Sihang Warehouse Battle Memorial stands as a testament to courage and resilience during the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. A nationally protected site, the memorial spans approximately 3,800 square meters and is spread over three floors. The first two floors feature permanent exhibitions, while the third floor hosts temporary displays that offer fresh perspectives on this pivotal moment in history.

At the heart of the memorial is the exhibition dedicated to the Defense of Sihang Warehouse. In the late stages of the Battle of Shanghai in 1937, more than 420 soldiers from the 88th Division of the Chinese army, famously known as the "eight hundred heroes", made a heroic stand. Under the leadership of Xie Jinyuan, their bravery is vividly portrayed, bringing their story to life for visitors.

The memorial goes beyond traditional displays with its innovative exhibition design. Visitors can explore battle scenes, dioramas, miniature displays, oil paintings, sculptures, interactive games, and films, all of which create an engaging experience.

Serving as more than a historical site, the memorial is a comprehensive venue that integrates social education, public engagement, academic research, and collection preservation. It is a must-visit for those interested in history.
