Tucked away in Shanghai's Minhang district, Hanxiang Water Expo Garden is a hidden gem among the city's suburban tourism spots.
Designed to evoke the charm of ancient China, the park seamlessly blends rivers, stone bridges, towering trees and traditional architecture. The classic Chinese pavilions, corridors, and waterways, with their gray bricks, black tiles and red carved wooden doors, create a stunning traditional aesthetic.
For the more adventurous, the garden also offers water sports such as kayaking and paddleboarding, as well as a camping area. Families can enjoy activities such as mini-tank driving, providing excitement for children while encouraging family bonding.
