MJ 389 Cultural and Creative Park
The site of MJ 389 Cultural and Creative Park used to be occupied by a Taiwan-funded garment company in Shanghai. Its office buildings were transformed into a cultural and creative park in 2007, which was later recognized as a national 3A-level tourist attraction in 2018.
The park houses a large number of distinctive stores set up by skilled artisans specializing in glass, illustration, leather, floral art, pottery, paper clay, gastronomy, and more. Notable among them are Taiwan's iconic papercraft brand Carton King, century-old woodworking brand Woody Chic, and wooden gifts workshop Woody Icon.
A fusion of craftsmanship, culture, art, innovation, firsthand experiences, and education, this park invites visitors to explore, create, and take home a piece of art. In addition to shopping for cultural and creative products, they can also participate in hands-on classes to craft their own souvenirs.
